"Reynisfjara and Dyrholaey beaches are beautiful but incredibly dangerous black sand beaches. There have been several fatalities here, mostly at Reynisfjara beach, when people are swept out to sea by sneaker waves. The last fatality was in June 2022. This beautiful serene shot taken just as the last of the light was fading, would never belie the dangers of these beaches."
